Is it possible to have peonies bloom at different times in summer? Are there late blooming varieties ?

By choosing a mixture of early, midseason, and late blooming varieties, you can have blooms for up to 6 weeks.

Remember that the Latin name for Peony is Paeonia when you use this site: http://www.perennialresource.com/index.c...

Sorry, not much on the peonies but I did get you a site strictly for peonies.

And to answer your questions, there are early blooming peonies, midseason and late.

I hope you enjoy. the site.
Reply:It has been my experience that peonies will bloom several times a year if the climate allows for it. If you prune them late spring, they will bloom again midsummer, and prune again late summer for midfall blooms.
Reply:I think it all depends on the weather,as we have had a really mild start to the year think the plants brains are all over the place
